About Me
Hello, I’m Alexandra! I am a credentialed Education Specialist, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Youth Exercise Specialist (YES). I have 15+ years of experience supporting children in schools, homes, hospitals, camps, and therapeutic settings. My passion for movement came at a young age, where dance classes quickly became the most important outlet for me to express difficult emotions and experiences. Taking time away from dance as a young adult, I found a new spark for movement as I began lifting weights, and shortly after, finding Hoop Dance. Movement now means more to me than fitness or a creative outlet alone. Movement is my way of healing my mind and body, and something I want to ensure others are able to partake in comfortably and without fear.
Taking an individualized, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to movement and education.
I help my clients build body awareness, increase strength without pain, and learn in ways that is most natural for them.
After years working as a special education teacher and personal trainer, I’m choosing to blend my areas of expertise to create neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed movement sessions that help both children and adults to build strength, confidence, and a stronger mind-body connection through fun, engaging, and personalized experiences.
My sessions are designed to support each individual in meeting their goals to help them thrive in school or work, at home, and beyond.
